Kim Martin was wonderful! She spent the time up front to make a positive connection with me. Kim was also extremely patient as I was trying to get the best interest rate possible and was doing some comparative shopping. In the end, I decided to go with Universal Lending because of Kim.

The only thing keeping me from giving "10's" across the board is the fact that I didn't realize that you were going to sell my mortgage to another company right away. No one told me that and I more than likely would not have used UIC if I had known that.

We were not advised to bring deposit account information in order to direct deposit our closing funds. This should have been made clear to us. Kim was great.

Kim was responsive, which helped to seal the relationship since I was simultaneously working with a competitor also. There are 2 things that need to be improved. Your on-line application process could be expanded to include submission of all relevant documents, which is how the competitor started out with a significant lead over Universal Lending and kept it for about 2 weeks. Secondly, to ask the borrower to give you their online banking account names and passwords is absolutely unacceptable and a horrible idea -- I still cannot get over that anyone would have the audacity/stupidity to actually do that (I refused, of course).

Kim did a great job, working with us on getting the rate that worked best for us. She answered my questions. My only suggestion would be, i would have preferred meeting with her in person or do a zoom call at least on the day of closing. Closing on the loan is big decision and would have been nice to meet with her in some ways, and not just to meet the notary.
