This was my first time refinancing and I was very nervous about the process. I will say that this was the MOST pleasant experience I have ever had. My load officer kept me informed every step of the way. I never had to make a call to ask the status because they were always one step ahead and every timeline they projected to me was precise. The portal was easy to navigate to update my documents and they processed everything right away. I had googled the top 5 companies and read reviews. Some positive and some negative. I decided to go with Newrez because I already had my existing mortgage with them and I am so glad I did. I would tell anyone when reading reviews to consider that some people are their own problem. I had done my research and gathered all of my documents before I started the process and was ready when they asked for any additional documentation. I do believe that as long as you are ready and provided what is needed to complete your loan it will go as smoothly as mine did.
