In particular Jim Eagle was very good on his following up throughout the process. When we had our initial conversation he was optimistic that we could complete my refinancing in 3-4 weeks. I thought his estimate was over-selling me to encourage me to go with NewRez vs. another lender. In the end, Jim was correct, and I was able to close on the refinance within 4 weeks of speaking with Jim for the first time.

Fix your forms so that they mean what they say and say what they mean. When I'm in the process of signing my life away, I would rather not have to default to an assumption of an understanding when it could just as simply be stated without being cryptic or incomplete. For one example with regards to asking for a local attorney to be provided, which I did, there was supposed to a list to choose from and there wasn't. Recommendation: perform user testing the way we do for web experiences (my industry). Unless you truly understand how the forms look and feel to a user (who is not a mind reader or a multi-repetitive applicant), then you can not completely appreciate how you might enhance or change functuonality and/or forms for an improved customer experience.

Able to navigate quickly and resolve the issues with my previous NewRez refi application that basically died and no one told me why. If it hadn't been for Jim contacting me, I would not have pursued this refinance and probably would have changed mortgage companies completely. Jim literally saved New Rez from losing a customer!

I was very happy with Him. It was when we were handed off for the next step I had a hard time getting information about our closing. The closing was pushed out a week but I couldn't get the information why. Fees for closing and inspection were higher than I thought they should have been.

We were treated like first time mortgage customers and the paperwork requirements was too much to establish our credibility. It left us in a state of doubt one day that terminated the deal.

The communication each day as to where my loan was in the process was a breath of fresh air. NewRez was amazing!

Jim Eagle was great. Only problem was it was very inconvenient to have to get checks for all our credit cards. Having to make out every envelope to them. We have everyone of them automatically come out of our checking account each month. The checks were made out well over the amounts we owed. Our printer does not work so we could not get statements to put in with each check. If they would of put the money into our account instead of sending us checks. The right amount would of been taking out. Plus creditors would of had the money owed right away. Other than that everything was good.

My loan processor never answered the phone, even when he was available, and attempted to answer a question with another question because he wasn't happy with what my question topic was- potentially canceling the loan amount needed.

From start to finish everyone I worked with was please t knowledgeable and if they didn't know they researched and found me the answer I was looking for. They kept me updated on deadlines or upcoming steps in the process. They were very simple and even helped work around my work schedule for the closing.

Process was painfully slow and given the fact that we were already Newrez customers, more complicated than I feel it needed to be. There should be a more streamlined process for current customers looking to refinance.

Jim was great. The title company was great . The appraisal guys were great. It was the person that verifies your information Evelyn Garcia she dropped the ball several times. My closing took over 45 days she took long responding to emails. I had to do my own research on my judgement so it was a bit frustrating. Jim Eagle helped me when I could get in contact with Garcia he would somehow get her and she would call me and flow up.
