Easy process

the time from beginning to end was 10months. Everytime the underwriters asked for something, it was given in a very timing fashion. Credit was checked at least 3-4 times because when we were ready to proceed something else was too old and needed to be updated. Very frustrating. Glad everything is completed.

Elena made herself available to us throughout the refi process and was quick to return calls and answer any questions we had about the process. She was also able to secure us a rate that we were satisfied with. Overall, Elena did a. great job and we are happy to have worked with her.

Misspelling of my name causing delays in closing. The process took longer than expected and I had to ask for updates every time. They could have been more proactive with keeping me in the loop of the delays.

Communication could have been a little better. This was for a FHA Streamline loan. I wasn?t informed about verifications that needed to be provided until I received a letter in the mail that if I didn?t provide by the due date my loan process would be stopped. By the time I got the letter it was only about a week before the due date. After those verifications I was asked a couple of weeks later to provide proof that that I had received similar interest rate offers from competitors which seemed odd since I was under the impression that this was a straightforward loan because my credit score and income weren?t going to be checked. I also didn?t think it would have taken 3 months for this type of loan to be processed.

Knowing about our solar panels that were in our house mortgage NewRez purchased from Caliber.

Better communication from the treasurer who took care of the final process . Better time management, from the beginning we were told the process would take 30 to 40 days and it took around 60. There was a problem with the appraisal that had to be corrected and I was charged for the appraisal to be corrected. Elena was extremely helpful and very prompt when I had questions. She was professional and personable.

Everything went smoothly. It was easy to send info that was needed, and to sign documents. Closing was done at our home which was very convenient.

I had had the worst experience ever several years before with another company that left me feeling very humiliated and very negative toward loan companies.
