Steven helped us understand the features and benefits of a great loan that funded not only our home renovation but pay off a car loan along with a couple small loans. At first we shopped for a smaller loan for just the renovation but soon realized talking with Steven that with our income to debt ratio we could easily qualify for a larger loan covering the renovation, the other debts and still have a few thousand to put into our investment portfolio for an emergency. Timely communication

The communication, explanation, and continued effort from the beginning to the end was great! However, I would say that there should be better system communication within Newrez. During my refinancing process, I did receive a call and letter stating that I was behind on my mortgage payment. I had to explain that I was refinancing and closing the next day. I think that is unnecessary stress placed upon the consumer.

The staff at Newrez were very helpful. They answered questions, and were there with me step by step throughout the process of my task. They were friendly and supportive.

There were issues that created weeks of delay and frustration. While some were caused by neither lender nor borrower, others were internal to the lender or their chosen vendor. I am satisfied with the finally funded loan...and relieved.
