what would have made it better is a better explanation of the numbers we went iinto this thinking we would be paying a lower monthly payment . It wasn't until the notary was here that we realized the payment would be more because property tax went up. would Have been nice to get that heads up. Yea we did get all the documents yea yes I read them all, I always do. but sometimes it's nice to have certain things pointed out. Also, our signing was delayed because my name on the documents did not match my government ID . it was postponed another week because the notary would not notarize with this discrepancy. Lastly, Thomas needs to update his phone number in his signature right now it reads 000-000-0000. Made it very challenging to get ahold of him

Took longer than expected. Underwriter kept asking for items and then the turn around time after providing was always 2 days or more. It got frustrating and felt like there would never be an end to them asking documents and also requesting larger bills be paid off that I had no intentions of paying off and have a Lower rate now so it made no sense to me as to the logic of that. This had nothing to do with Thomas or Shawna. They handled my frustrations well.

Everyone we dealt with, especially Paulette Storms, was courteous, friendly, and most helpful during the entire refinance process. She kept us informed about what information we needed to furnish, and in what format. She also called us regularly to let us know what was happening and why. She answered our questions professionally and in a knowledgeable manner, yet with sympathy for our concerns.

The online line process made easier to do compared to my original application many years ago. Thomas was a pleasure to deal with. My only complaint was the slight delay because of your recorded line was extremely annoying to me. And in all honesty I almost went with another company because of it. We started in April and finished mid July still no word on checks to payout creditors? Would love to have been given a weekly update via email regarding the status on our loan and what?s happening and how long to expect to wait for current phase. Instead I get like we had to call and request updates. It was an anxious journey for me but my husband handles his anxiety much better than I do so a weekly email would have helped with my worry/ anxiety. Many of my friends deal with anxiety worse than I do so not sure if I would be quick to refer based on my experience. Maverick was very kind, nice and helpful when we would call but like I said a weekly email would have been appreciated.

The communication and the overall help with making the process so comfortable , when I didn't understand. I really wasn't going to do the refinance, due to the high level of stress, but I tell you. the Team with Newrez made it so easy and I didn't even stress during the waiting as I normally would.
