Mary was very personable and pleasant to work with. I felt she had our best interest in mind. The property we purchased had some unique aspects that made the financing difficult. It seemed, however that certain conclusions (like this needing to be a portfolio loan) could have been reached sooner than it was. As a result, things got pushed to the very end of our available time for this deal such that if the approval team had come back with disapproval, we would have lost the deal. I appreciate Mary’s integrity and not over promising until she was sure she could come through. It didn’t, however, give us peace of mind that the loan would be approved and we would get the condo we badly wanted. In the end, I’m extremely happy Mary and the NewRez team persevered, came through, and we now have the investment property we were looking for.
