Any questions we had were answered and they kept us in the loop on what info was needed and why, as well as trying to stay ahead so that it would go through in a smooth and timely manner. Really appreciated this as with us getting things done in a timely manner meant if there was an issue we would be able to get it fixed before it affected anything else or delayed the process.

The whole experience,from the realtor to the lending team was awesome. I felt like they did the impossible working with us-finding the perfect home and then getting the loan processed in such a fast time. The team at universal was incredible,and so kind and caring-I can’t imagine having done it with anyone else. I was more than impressed and pleased!

I have bought and sold houses in Iowa and Doug Spence is by far the best mortgage lender I have ever worked with. Front the first contact, approval letter to the various steps throughout the process Doug was knowledgeable, courteous, accessible and helpful. It's no wonder he was the lender of the year. I can't say enough about how he made this move from Iowa to Montana less stressful and made me feel like I had someone in my corner helping me navigate the home buying process. He was a resource for other services I needed which had nothing to do with the mortgage. I knew I could trust him to direct me to other solid people. Doug is a good dude and his supervisors are lucky to have him doing his thing. Doug will be my mortgage guy as long as he's in the business. I could tell you more about how Doug helped me out when I pulled my uhauls in to Great Falls but I'll just say, he's a damn good person and super smart when it comes to the different loans and parameters of the lending process. He's a great representative for Universal Lending. The only reason he wasn't at the closing was because he had surgery but I'm sure you knew that. :)
