Regarding Newrez, I do have to say its a little old school. I have done personal loans where they electronically pay my debt. When I refinanced, newrez they literally sent physical checks (like who writes check nowadays) so that I would send them to the creditors. So I have to buy a stamp, envelope, go the post office, mail the check, wait for the post office to deliver the mail, wait for the bank to post to my account. Just saying this could have been done electronically.

The process went well, great communications with emails and phone calls. We did have a situation that delayed the final funding an additional 2 days with an unexpected requirement needed regarding FEMA, but it was not NewRez's requirement. It made me a little nervous, the communications was important with the delay.
