Mario was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout my entire mortgage process. He was professional, polite, responsive, and always on top of everything. From the beginning, he took the time to ask questions, understand my needs, and look for solutions that would work best for me. This was a foreclosure purchase, which already made the transaction more complicated because foreclosures have their own processes, requirements, and timelines. On top of that, we had to deal with an inexperienced and unresponsive remote title company, which created numerous issues and added a tremendous amount of stress throughout the process. Despite all of these challenges, Mario remained patient, professional, and reassuring. He was always looking for solutions and even explored different options to help me with the down payment for my new home. Whenever another issue came up, he would reassure me not to worry and that he had everything under control. Eventually, I decided to leave the stress to Mario and trust that he would do what was best for me and I was absolutely right. He truly went above and beyond, and I always felt that he had my best interests in mind. I am extremely happy with Mario’s service and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a lender who genuinely cares about his clients. Because of the experience I had with him, I will definitely refinance my mortgage with Wintrust in the future.
