Dane was extremely knowledgeable about the products available and took the time to thoroughly explain the process. Dane was an excellent communicator keeping me apprised of the process and stepping in to resolve any outstanding issues. The loan processor Isaiah Kelly was efficient and was able to assist in expediting the process. Newrez has two outstanding employees. On a side note the first representative Darren that I made contact with to initiate the loan process provided me with incorrect information that led me to a financial setback in an attempt to comply with the process he had outlined. The initial appraiser also failed to submit my appraisal for 2 weeks therefore delaying my loan closing however Newrez recognized this and assigned a new appraiser who reached out immediately to inspect my property on a Saturday and the report was ready on Monday. The hybrid closing was quick and easy and my loan closed without any further issue.

I was a current Newrez customer and decided to stay with Newrez for the refi process because it was supposed to be easier , faster and the best rate. As far as I could tell and remember from prior refi's in the past, nothing seemed streamlined (full docs still required along with appraisal), the length of process same as other loan agencies' advertised timelines - even a little longer than some...definitely missed the time frame tht was given to me at the start of the process, and "Best rate" was only possible if I submitted a competitor's lower offer and or prove that Newrez had lowered their own rates
