Competent and quick to reply with any questions. Numbers quoted were almost exact and paper work was way easier than expected. Time frame was the quickest I ever experienced, from applying to settlement. Wish the payoffs could have been done without receiving and mailing paper checks. There was one hiccup about subordination or temporary release of a Cross River Bank/Marlette Servicing UCC filing that Mr. O'Hara promised this would not apply to us as Newrez was our initial mortgage lender. However, it was an issue and almost did not close. Ms. Georgia Riedel, Newrez Loan Processor, was able to get a temporary release and we were able to close. In the end, however, we were very pleased with the VA IRRRL of 5.75% and closed on October 16th, 2025!

The process took two & a half months, with that being said, we did have to change loan types. Thank you Kevin for that suggestion. The process was stressful and some weeks went by without communication just to check in which would have eased my mind. Also the phone number on communication is incorrect which lead me to think I was dealing with a fraudulent person. Kevin & Maverick did ease my mind, but the phone number was never correct.

There was not a lot of communication from Kevin, just the bare minimum. And when I asked questions the explanations weren?t always clear because they were brief.
