It was just ok? I had a hard time getting a call back in the beginning and then Gary stepped in. The rest of the process was underwhelming.

David Gary was phenomenal to work with. Would absolutely work with him again. I have complaints about the communication from Kevin Wambold about the underwriting process. Despite responding promptly to the underwriting teams requests, they asked for additional documents the day before the closing forcing me to push my settlement back.

The experience would have been better if my loan officer didn?t quit near the end of my loan process. We had a personal connection and he knew all the circumstances of what I was doing and none of the personal relationship translated to the new loan professional.

I paid off my home in LaPorte, however, I still had to use my new home as a second home, hiking up my interest and my rate. They were self-blaming because I was honest about the slow move-in process that I would be undergoing which I am currently in the house. This is not okay. I got chastised for paying off a credit card by the processor. You know, doing the responsible thing. Do not get me started on him.

Was able to work with me, to beat out Rocket Mortage and Lending Tree, to keep the loan with NewRez for both my properties.

The Newrez team stayed with me patiently through all the ups and downs like a true partner. This is my fourth real estate purchase and the most stressful one from a seller perspective. The Newrez team were an immense relief in the entire journey.

Mostly all handled online and when the appraiser was scheduled to come to my house, she was right on time as well.

Any concerns or questions were answered almost immediately. Someone from the team was either available at time of call or returned calls promptly. David & Jessica were great. Jessica checked on us throughout the process and kept us updated. They were always willing to answer the many questions we had. Communication was outstanding!

Excellent communication across the board. This is the second home I have bought, so "I don't know what I don't know." Which means, I didn't always know what questions I should be asking. The team was very thorough in their explanations, and let me know what I could expect next. Shout out to Jessica Seigler - she would call me at least once a week, even if it was to tell me there haven't been any updates/changes. That was awesome. Although our closing didn't go smoothly due to underwriting delays (none of which were David's fault), we were extremely happy with our experience working with David.
