It's not that I wouldn't "highly" recommend NewRez, it's just that being a 78 yr old single woman trying to with the very complicated and stressful situation of refinancing and being technologically challenged makes this whole process even more stressful. I DO NOT like doing anything like this online. It takes too long and is very confusing with all the documentation flying back and forth. Companies need to take into consideration the needs and capabilities of their older and/or challenged customers. I do appreciate Jamie Webster taking the initiative of have a notary come out to my house personally to do the final paperwork which consisted of 40!!! pages of documents to go through and sign.

I would tell them I contacted Mr. Reid when I was having a problem on the website applying for an equity loan. And that I had received numerous mailings from Newrez and thought it was worth looking into. That I was unsure if I would apply for one or not. I would say I was considering one to maintain my financial stability due to the frequent changes in the economy. And when talking to Mr. Reid he was very understanding and considerate of what I was trying to do. He was patient and asked more questions about my particular goals. And after hearing them he began to tell me about all the options available to me from Newrez. Most of which I had no idea. From there I picked an option and was able to start the application process. Had it not been for Mr. Reid, and had I applied on the website, I would never have known what was available to me. Zachary Reid was awesome with the steps for refinancing my home. I was very hesitant to refinance but Zachary walked me through step by step instructions and was such a help to me. He always answered my emails or calls in a very timely manner matter. Honestly, I don’t know if I would have gone through with my refinance if I did not work with him. He helped me so much with taking care of some of my debt with refinancing as well as now being able to do repairs to my home. He has wonderful customer service skills.

I had never utilized a home equity loan before, but when I made my initial consulrstion consultation with Zachary Reed, he explained the process in grest deal. With hiz invaluable help, this became a reality for me! And I can now say I will be debt-Free by the 1st if the year. A few anxioud anxious moments, but all worked out very well, much better than expected. However i I didn't get my partial bi-weekly mortgage canceled soon enough as who I spoke to said it would be canceled, but it was not, I would asdume that will sent to me in the form of a check or? everyone whom I dealt with was very professional and I felt i I was in good hands! Now will work on getting my credit back in order , smooth sailing ahead! Thank you all! And Happy Happy Thanksgiving

The whole process was smooth compared to alternatives i was considering. I appreciated Zach being on top of all my questions I had very responsive. The only constructive feedback I would provide is that the fact new res generated checks for paying off my debt with American Express has caused me personal issues in that I had already paid American Express with my funds and then the checks arrived so now I have a huge amount of credit with American Express that I needed that cash. What I should have done is insisted that the financing be 100 percent cash towards myself and I would have taken care of those consolidated debts from those funds. I will work this out with American Express nothing for NewRez is to here.

Zach did a good job keeping me informed, but there were times when there was a lack of communication of what they needed and what I delivered. I had to call Vanessa to see how this was moving along at times. On one of my last calls to Vanessa, I called to get a idea on things were moving along and was told I needed to send something else to keep it moving. If I did not call then , It would of taken longer to complete the process. After that, I insisted that Vanessa keep me informed at all times, for which she did. I will tell you this, I did not know that It would be classified a second mortgage. I was looking for a loan to pay off my credit cards. All is good and there will be no problem with this loan from me. THANK YOU for everything. GO BILLS !!!!!
